Training Experimentation
(Origins 2006 build)
by Jim Przytulski (58 cards)
Characters 5x Buromil Grunt 5x Assault Squad 2x Loyalty Officers 4x Colonel Wilhelm Reigner 4x Rapid Response Team Events 5x Imprisoned 5x Dangerous Experiment 2x Neutron Bomb Edges 2x Art of War Feng Shui Sites 4x Diamond Beach 2x Roller Rink 2x Fox Pass 2x City Square 2x Mountain Fortress Sites 5x Killing Ground 5x Bandit Hideout 2x Training Camp
The basic idea behind this deck is to play defensive characters waiting for the opponent to attack you then playing surprise characters cheap or even free. I find this works really well with Dangerous Experiments as you can build resources really quick sometimes. The sites are all based on messing up the opponent's attacks, and are generally pretty good against small hordes. The battlegrounds pump your soldiers with a Colonel out. Rapid Response Team can just be brutal after a bunch of battlegrounds are dropped filling your hand up to six or even eight with Art of War.
The Smackdown in Jacktown 2006 build removes 2x Art of War, and adds 2x The Golden Spike and 2x The Bazaar for a total of 60 cards.
